Frequently asked questions
Is it really free up to 5 employees?
Yes. The Free plan needs no credit card, has no time limit and covers leave and absence management for up to 5 employees: requests, approvals, balances, public holidays and the leave schedule. The digital time clock, shifts, SSO and HR features are on Pro.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free covers leave and absence management for up to 5 employees. Pro, priced per employee, adds the digital time clock with GPS, missing clock-in alerts, shifts and rotas, payroll hours, automatic sending to your accountant, training, SSO and calendar sync. It costs €1.70 per employee/month billed annually, or €2.00 billed monthly.
Does TeamYo meet Article 202 of the Portuguese Labour Code?
Compliance stays with the employer, and the digital time clock (Pro plan) gives you the record Article 202 asks for: start and end times and breaks, for office, remote and off-site teams, ready to consult at any time. The law requires the record to be kept for five years (Article 202(4)). The monthly sheet exports to Excel, for your accountant or a labour inspection.
How long does setup take, and can I move from another system?
You get an email with a link straight after the request, set your password and the account is ready in a few minutes, with your public holidays and working hours. You can import employees from Excel and leave balances from Excel or CSV, and we help with the move.
How is my data protected?
Connections to TeamYo are encrypted (HTTPS) and your data is processed under the GDPR. You can request deletion of your data when you leave.
How is TeamYo different from international tools?
TeamYo was built around what employers in Portugal must do: the working-time record of Article 202, the time sheet sent automatically to your accountant, training hours against an annual target you can set at the 40 hours, the leave schedule for Article 241, company health and safety documents and, in early access, each employee's medical fitness certificates.
