Is it really free up to 5 employees?
Yes. The free plan has no credit card required, no time limit, and includes leave management, team calendar, approval workflows, balance tracking and basic reports. You only move to a paid plan when you go above 5 employees or need digital time tracking, SSO, or HR features.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free covers leave management, team calendar, approvals, balances and basic reports, up to 5 employees. Pro removes the employee limit and adds digital time clock with GPS (Article 202 compliant), Google/Microsoft SSO, advanced reports with API access, automatic export to your accountant, and employee development features. €1.70/employee/month on annual billing.
Does TeamYo comply with Article 202 of the Portuguese Labour Code?
Yes. The digital time clock (Pro plan) records start, end, intervals and interruptions as required by Article 202, retains data for 5 years, allows immediate consultation, and works for in-office and remote teams within the legal 15-day window. The monthly summary is exportable to PDF, Excel or CSV for ACT inspections or your accountant.
How long does setup take and can I migrate from another system?
Account creation takes 2 minutes. We configure your company for you and you receive an email with everything ready, usually within a few hours. CSV import is supported for employees, leave types and balances, and we help with the migration at no cost on the Early Access plan.
How is my data protected?
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), daily backups with 30-day retention, full GDPR compliance with EU data residency. You can export all your data to CSV at any time and request deletion when you leave.
